Airport Asset Management: Transforming Aviation Infrastructure for an African Aviation Authority

Client: Aviation Authority of an African country, overseeing more than six airports.

Objective:To implement a comprehensive Aeronautical and Non-Aeronautical asset management and billing solution, replacing the client’s outdated manual processes with a modern, efficient system.

Overview: The client, an Aviation Authority responsible for managing over six airports, faced operational inefficiencies due to reliance on manual processes for asset management and billing. This traditional approach hindered accurate tracking of aeronautical assets, such as runways and terminals, as well as non-aeronautical assets, including retail spaces and parking facilities. Moreover, billing processes were fragmented, leading to delays and communication gaps among stakeholders.

To address these challenges, Uttam Infotech led a comprehensive technology transformation project aimed at automating and harmonizing the client’s asset management processes. The goal was to enhance operational efficiency, improve stakeholder communication, and provide the client with a scalable and future-ready solution.

Solution: Uttam Infotech implemented an integrated Aeronautical and Non-Aeronautical asset management solution that centralized all asset-related data into a single platform. Key components of the solution included:
